Our Approach
Treating people, animals and the planet with integrity and respect is at the forefront of all our decisions with the business.
Treating people, animals and the planet with integrity and respect is at the forefront of all our decisions with the business.
A cornerstone of the business is using plastic free packaging. Everything is paper based and fully recyclable or compostable.
The secret behind our delicious chocolates is Fiona's mum, Lorna, who does a fabulous job as chief taste tester!
At Fetcha Chocolates, we believe in paying a fair wage right through our supply chain and are firmly against slave labour and child labour practices. That's why the chocolate we use, and the majority of our raw ingredients, are either UTZ (now part of Rainforest Alliance) or Fairtrade certified.
Both the Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade are also founding members of the Global Living Wage Coalition and the Living Income Community of Practice.
Fetcha Chocolates Ltd is committed to playing its part in the Fair Work Convention’s vision that by 2025, people in Scotland will have a world-leading working life where fair work drives success, wellbeing and prosperity for individuals, businesses, organisations and society. We are therefore developing a workplace that is built on the five key dimensions of Fair Work: effective voice, opportunity, security, fulfilment and respect.
Since going vegan in 2017, Fiona made sure when she launched the business that vegan customers would know that they could trust her and the brand to be fully vegan.
It also makes it easy for allergy sufferers to be safe in the knowledge that no milk-containing products will ever be made in the same location as our delicious chocolates.
We have teamed up with Vegan Founded who are the world's first and only certification body that exclusively certifies and supports 100% real vegan businesses.
The Vegan Founded logo represents full transpaency, honesty and trust between our business and you, our customers.
In our local area we frequently donate raffle prizes and make donations to charitable causes. We also donate chocolates to our local foodbank at Christmas and Easter.
All our own chocolates are handmade in Scotland and all the chocolate we use to make them is manufactured in Devon in England, so rest assured, wherever possible we support UK businesses first.
Curretnly we are rasing money for the War Paws charity, supporting animal shelters in war torn areas like Ukraine and Afghanistan
