How long will my chocolates last?
Short Answer: 3 months.
Long Answer: Our chocolates taste best when they are fresh, so to experience them at their best we recommend eating them within 3-4 weeks.
That being said they, your chocolates will still be yummy and perfectly edible up to 3 months after you receive them if stored in a dark, cool, dry place.

Where should I keep my chocolate treats?
Short Answer: A cool, dark, dry place away from smells.
Long Answer: To make sure your chocolates stay as fresh as possible, for as long as possible, it is important to store them correctly - preferably in the dark but at least always out of direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place. It might be tempting to store in your treats in a cold, dark refrigerator but the fridge is NOT a good place for chocolate. Another bad place to keep chocolate is near strong fragrances - chocolate can pick up scents and no-one wants to eat chocolate that tastes like laundry powder or aftershave.

Do I need to keep them refrigerated?
Short Answer: No, we do not recommend storing in the fridge.
Long Answer: Storing in the fridge may result in your chocolates "sweating" and becoming sticky. The only occasion we recommend it is if your home is likely to be around 30*C or you are experiencing a heatwave at your location. Otherwise your chocolates will taste best at room temperature.
Can I collect my order?
Short Answer: Yes
Long Answer: We love getting to meet our customers in person so to arrange collection, simply select "pick up" on the delivery menu when you place your order and you will be notified when your order is ready to collected from the shop on Main Street, Campbeltown, Argyll.

When will I receive my order (by mail)?
Short Answer: We'll post ASAP within 10 days of receiving your order
Long Answer: All orders are shipped by 1st class Royal Mail within 10 days of order (unless pre-ordered - in which case they will be shipped on the agreed-upon date). The shipping cost is £4.25 for orders under £35 and for orders above that shipping is free. We cannot be held responsible for orders that are missing or damaged in the mail.
Please note: We are a UK (Scotland) based business. Depending where in Europe, or the rest of the world, you are purchasing from, your country's custom authorities may require you to pay taxes or duties. Customers are responsible for the cost of any duties and/or taxes imposed and should be aware of potential delays that customs processes could cause to the delivery timeline for your order.

How do pre-orders work?
Short Answer: You purchase items that are posted to you at a specified later date.
Long Answer: We offer pre-orders for products that tend to be particularly popular, such as Easter or Christmas products, allowing you to secure your items in advance and have them posted out to you on a specified date. We highlight on product listings if the item is a pre-order item and when it will dispatch so that you know when your chocolates will arrive. We always ensure pre-orders are dispatched in plenty of time to arrive with you before a holiday such as Christmas Day or Easter.
Something to note when shopping pre-order items is that all items in your order are shipped together. This means that if ANY item in your order is a pre-order item, your FULL ORDER will be posted when that pre-order item becomes available. If you have other items in your basket that you would like to receive earlier, then please place a separate order.

How ethical are your chocolates really?
Short Answer: We use fairtrade ingredients wherever possible and we're also vegan, organic and plastic free.
Long Answer: Whenever we can, we use fairly traded ingredients in our exclusively vegan chocolates. We believe that everyone should be paid a fair price for the work that they do. That belief extends to treating our planet fairly too; our fully recyclable, plastic free packaging is testament to that. We also work with organic ingredients and materials because it makes for safer working conditions for the farmers (and farm workers) themselves.

Why should I buy organic chocolate?
Short Answer: It's better for everyone
Long Answer: Organic farming is a more socially responsible method of growing crops and by buying our chocolates, or indeed any product, made using organic ingredients, you are helping to preserve our natural world.
When you choose organic you are choosing to say NO to the use of Genetically Modified Organisims (GMO's), NO to nasty bee-killing pesticides, NO to synthetic herbicides and NO to unnatural fertilisers. Shopping organically is you taking a stand for your planet and the people living on it, a small act of rebellion and a small act of love.
Growing organically is also easier on the native plant life and animal life surrounding farmland and it means there are no nasty chemicals running off the land into the local drinking water supplies.
